Heather's Spark challenge this week is to ink up an oldie. This picnic table was part of my very first purchase of A Muse stamps! I had to go all the way from Texas to Saint Paul, MN to get them too! (actually we were there for a friend's wedding but the stamps were the highlight of the trip for me!)
This card was pretty quick. I stamped the picnic table on a piece of CS the same size as the wood block and inked up the edges. I put it up on some pop-dots on some thin corkboard that was layered onto a dark brown. The card base is a dark kraft color. I cut a strip of hemp, tied some knots in it and gave it a little ink to add some character. To finish off the card I inked up all the edges.
This card also fits the bill for the weekly A Muse Addicts challenge with is a summer themed card. What says summer more than sitting on a picnic table eating BBQ???
As a bonus, this also fits the bill for the June homepage contest, which is to make a card celebrating the men in your life. I don't know about your house but at mine all the barbecuing is done by my husband!

Great idea! I haven't used the picnic table in ages either!
Thanks for playing along and "sharing your spark!"
